Broadband wireless networks use microwave technology to transmit data instead of a physical cable connection. To connect a business to the MetroBridge network, technicians install a tiny transceiver (a 25 cm X 15 cm grey satellite dish or panel) on the roof, in the window, or on the side of the building and run a small cable indoors to your router or firewall.
The transceiver then transmits data using microwave technology to one of MetroBridge's larger transceivers at a nearby skyscraper or tower. That transceiver then sends the data to major Internet nodes where we connect to our upstream peers to give you fast Internet access with a proven uptime of 99.999 per cent.
