Management Team:

Dorian Banks, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder 

Dorian Banks is a natural entrepreneur with extensive experience providing technology leadership to businesses around the world. He established AirCelerator Wireless in 2001 and within three years led the company to become the Lower Mainland’s largest wireless Internet service provider.  In 2004, he merged AirCelerator Wireless with Universco Broadband to form MetroBridge Networks.

Prior to starting AirCelerator, Dorian was founder and CEO of MyCash in Zurich, Switzerland, creating a system that enabled global, cross-currency money transfer via mobile phone.  He also worked in Germany as head of information and knowledge management for Voith GmbH where he reported directly to the Board leading a global IT overhaul including MS Exchange and Siebel rollout.

Dorian is a Director at Backbone Systems and NetFone, and has acted as an advisor and mentor to other entrepreneurs, including the team that started AirGames Wireless in Vancouver -- the first-ever winner of Telus New Ventures British Columbia.  He has also lectured at Harvard and Northeastern universities in the pre-MBA and business diploma programs.

Dorian is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and Harvard University.

Martin Bajic, Chief Financial Officer

Martin Bajic has a solid background in financial reporting and business development strategy.  He is presently Chief Financial Officer of a venture capital firm providing accounting and consulting services to both private and public companies.  Previously, Martin was supervisor at a medium-sized accounting firm in British Columbia from 1999 through to 2007.  He is a director of Syracuse Capital Corp. and Providence Capital Corp. 

Martin has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia and holds a Chartered Accountant designation with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia.

James T. Gillis

James Gillis has significant expertise in business administration and mineral exploration with over 25 years of experience in the mining industry. Since 1985, he has been the President of James T. Gillis Management Co. Inc., a private company which provides management services to public companies. He is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Africa West Minerals Corp., Cassidy Gold Corp. and Island Arc Exploration Corp. as well as a director, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Navasota Resources Ltd; which are all publicly traded on the TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Gillis is also a director of Providence Capital Corp.

Hamed Shahbazi, Audit Committee Chairman

Hamed Shahbazi co-founded TIO Networks Corp. (formerly known as Info Touch Technologies) in August of 1997.  As the founding CEO, he focused the company on using self-service web-enabled kiosks as a vehicle for delivering digital content and transactions to the public domain.  Hamed has transitioned the company into a well respected multi-channel consumer bill payments processor.  Today, there are more than 10,000 location end-points to TIO’s processing switch in the US and Canada where consumers can pay bills. 

He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
